We're Back!!

I realize that it has been months since we posted - oh the woes of not having internet! Here's the Readers Digest Condensed Version of what's been going on....

We had to be out of our apartment in Rexburg by August 21, so we moved in with my parents for what we thought would be 1-2 weeks. That one or two weeks turned into 6 weeks, but we were so grateful to them for their hospitality in letting us stay. My grandpa Lambert was there for most of the time, and I loved seeing him and Emmalee interact. She loves her Grandpa Great!! We finally got the clearance to move into our new house on October 2, and we love it! It's so nice to finally be in our home and settled into a permanent place.

Emmalee is growing like a weed and is as adorable as ever. At her 4 month checkup 3 weeks ago she was 16 pounds (96th percentile for her age) and 26 inches (97th percentile) We've had to break out some of our 6-9 month clothes for her to wear. She still loves to laugh and finds silly things funny. She likes to give "kisses" on the cheek, and she tries to get her toes in her mouth but her belly is too big. We've been slowly introducing solid foods to her, and crazy child that she is, she likes peas better than oatmeal, rice and carrots. I think this next week we'll try some squash.... She had been sleeping through the night since we started her on rice several weeks ago, but the last couple have been kinda rough because she hasnt' been feeling well - maybe it's teething? Miss Emm is starting to show a little bit of a temper, but I hope she's blessed with a little more self control than I had as a child.
