The Sunday before Christmas we had a Mobley family dinner with William's family. We were able to reinact the christmas story. My favorite part, though, was that Catherine wanted William to be the donkey.....William says he was "type cast" for the role.
Christmas Eve we went to my parent's house and had a fantastic dinner of Garlic
Our christmas was wonderful. We had originally planned to spend the morning at our apartment opening our gifts to each other, then head to Osgood to see both sides of the family. Unfortunatly, our parents were all snowed in, so we had the unique opportunity to spend the entire day alone. I have to admit it was really nice to not have a hectic Christmas and I really enjoyed staying home.
The day after chrismas found my mom and dad, Shanda and Jade, William and I in Rigby, shoveling snow out of our house. We had three to four foot drifts throughout several areas of the house (oh the joy of not having sheeting on our trusses yet!) and at least a foot of snow throughout the rest of it. It took the six of us a combined 16 hours of labor to get all the snow out. The work went by fast, though, and I enjoyed the time spent with family.
That evening we all went to my mom and dad's for our family gift exchange. Shanda a
New Year's Eve found us once again in Osgood, playing games with my family. I laughed so hard, especially during Cranium. I'd have to agree with Jill.....ask Aunt Chris to show you how an Egyptian swims!! I had to try to act out "hormone." Needless to say, my whole team just looked at me.
The holidays were productive for our house, though. We were able to sheet the roof of our house last week, so that should keep the drifts out a little bit better....hopefully, anyway.
I must be looking pregnant this week....i was asked by 4 different people when my baby was due...I haven't had that until this week. The first time was on Sunday, and a nurse and one of my patients asked me...I went home and told Will it must be the scrubs I was wearing. Yesterday, though, I was wearing some of my "loose" scrubs, and I had two more people ask me. I'm hoping to keep it "secret" from my co workers until after next Wednesday, because i think it would be hillarious when they ask to say, "yes, i'm having a _________. (although i'm still thinking it's a girl!) Our ultrasound is next Wednesday.....hope our baby isn't too shy!

I often thought it would be great to be able to keep a pregnancy a secret until I knew what I was having. But, I get way to sick. How do you explain to your mom day after day of why you have to dash off the phone to go throw up? Tell William he better call and let me know what you guys are having. Yea!! I am so excited for you!
Oh, I can't wait to hear what you are having either! How exciting!
And it's great to be caught up. We love you guys!
Now, if I had just read your e-mail I wouldn't have had to call to see what you were having...although it was nice to talk to you! I knew Phillip was a boy long before we had our ultrasound and I informed the ultrasound tech what we were having. She was a little shocked that I was so positive he was a boy and that I was right. So bring on our new niece!!!
I love the updates, but especially the dinosaur story and picture of the new Harvey (or whatever you decide to name it). What a great part of your life to be able to pass along to your baby.
It's about time you wrote again! I was about to chastise you for taking so long.... "Swim like an Egyptian. Swim like an Egyptian...." I think I am going to sing that every time I see Aunt Chris.
